Welcome to the two-bitty world of 2 bit recordings - a chance for us to satisfy our cravings by laying our dirty mitts on the music we love.

On this website you'll be able to find out exactly what we're on about, and what we're up to in our desperate attempt to "shift enough units" to be bought out by any corporate who happens to be passing…..
First news to report is that a single by Lord Large feat. Clem Curtis is very soon to be released on 2 bit.
Called "Stuck in a wind-up", it's a soul classic….apparently…and has to be heard, not least because on it we have the voice of The Foundations ("Build me up Buttercup", "Baby, now that I've found you" etc.). The B-side is a really old early Ska track called "Move over Daddy" that dates back to pre-war times (March 2003). Check out 2bitrecordings for purchasing by the shedload.
An album of this and similarly toe-tapping stuff is being recorded right now deep in Deptford, and contains more collaborations with Clem, as well as tunes with Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze), Andrea Britton, Ashley Slater (Freakpower), and a blind, old Blues singer from Detroit called Robert Bradley. The album will be released on 2 bit under the title "Lord Large Presents...". as soon as his creaky drawbridge is repaired and he decides to reveal all.
Well there's something to look forward to.

In the words of Phyllis Nelson, "But in the meantime…", check out the rest of the site as it gradually gets stuck together, and if you fancy it drop us an e-mail to keep in touch.
